ABOUT ME

Ashley Hoffman, Psy.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist. She has been in private practice for over ten years, including working with all ages at Valley Christian Counseling and Asbury Counseling Center, with college students in a university counseling center, in a children's clinic at a community mental health center, on an adult unit at an inpatient psychiatric hospital, on a family therapy treatment team, as the associate director of a sexual abuse treatment program, on a specialized Autism Spectrum Disorder treatment team, and as a field researcher for Pearson test company. She is a member of the American Psychological Association and the National Register of Health Service Psychologists

 

Dr. Hoffman provides psychological services to adolescents and adults. Her clinical interests include anxiety disorders (OCD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, PTSD), mood disorders, spiritual issues, grief, women's issues (infertility, miscarriage, relationships, postpartum disorders), adolescent issues (ADHD, anxiety, abuse, bullying, social skills, depression, divorce, self-worth), parent-child relational problems, and evidence-based practices. She has been honored to serve the community as a speaker on mental health topics with women's groups, school systems, churches, dance studios, local suicide prevention initiatives, and the Huntsville Police Department.
